Oregon Child Support Program

Employer Training Seminars

Employers are key partners in the mission to improve the well-being of Oregon's children. To help employers understand their responsibilities and how to comply with child support laws, the Oregon Child Support Program offers regular seminars across the state. Each seminar lasts approximately three hours and will cover topics including:

  • Reporting new hires
  • Incoming withholding
  • Methods of payment
  • National Medical Support Notices
  • Complying with child support laws
  • Who to contact at the Oregon Child Support Program
  • Questions from attendees

Seminars are free of cost and open to all employers and labor organizations doing business in Oregon. Each program will be lead by a knowledgeable representative from the program's Employer Services Central Unit.
