The Oregon Attorney General’s office cannot provide legal advice to private individuals, and DOJ attorneys do not represent private individuals in legal matters. DOJ attorneys advise and represent Oregon’s state government, including its agencies, commissions, and boards. Any information you submit to us may become part of a public record. DOJ is a public agency and our records are subject to the Oregon Public Records Law, meaning the information you submit may be shared, if applicable by law.  Consumer complaints may be released to the business or person about whom you are complaining, members of the public, or other agencies.
